Frankly, I am an ardent fan of the Sniper Elite series and a trace of the series from the very first part of 2005 release. Therefore, this article can be written with a slight fan of fanaticism. But let’s get down.

Hand-to-hand combat was introduced (finally!), it is not as beautiful as it is, we say in Splinter Cell: BlackList, but nevertheless it does not cut the eyes and will have to use it quite often. Also, the main character has binoculars with him, with his help you can celebrate enemies and the necessary goals, later all the marked objects will be visible to the player even through the walls. In terms of physics and destruction, everything is done at the level, the fabrics are shot, and it turned out perfectly with the technique, but more on that later.

The creators of the game are very fond of building scripting skirmishes with all kinds of technology and absolutely, it does not matter if the player has passed the task quietly or not. The tank at the end will definitely wait! You say hardcore! But here the developers stumble about their own creation, namely about artificial intelligence. We have already talked about enemies earlier. But the same rule applies to technology. For example, a tank can ride in one place in circles and do not notice the hero running past. To destroy the equipment, you need to shoot either weaknesses, or run up and put dynamite. In theory, everything looks quite difficult and it is worth preparing an action plan, but in fact, the local AI itself spoils the “grand sniper simulator” which was promised to us.
As a reward, we are shown detailed destruction of technology in X-Ray mode, the rule also applies to people, but we saw this earlier. For the sake of this, it is worth playing in Sniper Elite 3!

Yes, the game still has a hardcore, but AI is foster, tanks and other equipment can ride in circles, and the adversaries seem to be blind, they do not see the only run -up protagonist. The final commentInstead of making a full -fledged third part, Sniper Elite Rebellion released a global patch and called it Sniper Elite 3. The mechanics remained almost the same as before, artificial intelligence is supposedly improved, new spacious locations were added, and the graphic component, processed for the sake of the new generation of platforms. In general, this is all the same Sniper Elite V2 with exactly the same problems as before, and no one is going to fix them and is not going to correct them. Alas.
